Dear Sisters,

Greetings to you!

I just returned from Philippines after meeting the Sisters and the Novices. The Novitiate community is welcoming and imbued with the family spirit. It is interesting to note that it is an international novitiate and the ten novices are from Myanmar, Taiwan, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Philippines. They enrich each other by their cultural differences and assume the identity as FMAs belonging to the Salesian Congregation.

I was overwhelmed to see the Novitiate community working together to form the novices for the love of the Church and the Congregation. I am happy to say that wherever I met the Sisters I felt the homily atmosphere and belonging to the Salesian Congregation is something very unique. I was happy to meet Sr. Ushananthini the second year novice who is preparing herself for the First Commitment. She conveys her regards and grateful for the formation received and the good things enjoyed in the Province.
