Hostel for Working Women

The Hostel for Working Women was started in 1954. It has its scope – the salvation of young working girls and students who, for want of proper shelter were exposed to so many dangers. The hostel offers them such a home, a place of moral security, linked with maternal and sisterly affection.

Aim

To offer a Catholic Home to young girls who on account of their studies or employment are obliged to live away from home. The centres offers to the inmates a homely and serene surrounding with the motherly assistance of the Salesian sisters whose aim is to respond to the inmates who are far off from their dear ones.
